Brand new Drum & Bass/Jungle label set up by the original ‘Daddy Of The Dance’ and a founder of 
the EDM scene, Ellis Dee. 
Ellis Dee was one of the most requested and revered DJ’s from the whole UK rave scene, starting out 
on the London Acid House circuit in the late 80’s, becoming a household name by the early 90’s for 
his uplifting rave sets across the whole of the UK and into Europe and the US. 
Ellis Dee has now set up Academix, a new label for all his D&B and Jungle tunes, releasing 
dancefloor bangers alongside close friends like Marvellous Cain. He has also been releasing on 
Drumsound and Simon Bassline Smiths ‘Technique’ label.
