2026 welcomes the release of The Boo Radley's third album since they got back together at the start of this decade.
In Spite Of Everything is their ninth record since forming in Wallasey back in 1988. It was their third album, 1993's 'Giant Steps', that announced them as genuine visionaries, fusing shoegaze with psychedelia, dub reggae, jazz, and Beach Boys-influenced harmonies. 1995's chart-topping follow up, 'Wake Up!' featured the inescapable sound of that Britpop Summer that was 'Wake Up Boo!'
Continuing on from the comeback album, 'Keep On With Falling' (2002), and its follow-up, 'Eight' (2023), this album, from the iconic British alternative rock trio, is a defiant statement of perseverance and creative survival from a band that has weathered industry indifference, lineup changes, and two decades of separation.
Fans can expect the band to continue their trajectory of experimentation balanced with the melodic sophistication that has defined their best work.
