Formed in Hersham, Surrey, in 1975 and fronted by the charismatic Jimmy Pursey, the
band quickly became known for their raw street energy and football terrace- style
anthems that captured the voice of working-class youth in late 1970s Britain.
This powerful collection brings together many of Sham 69's most iconic recordings,
including punk classics such as "If The Kids Are United," "Hurry Up Harry," "Borstal
Breakout," "Angels With Dirty Faces," and "Hersham Boys." Packed with sing- along
