An album that saw Jake return to his roots, A Modern Day Distraction shines a light on the injustice Jake seen dealt to the family and friends he grew up with. Fiery and engaged, the record was born out of a frustration of societal inequality. Still only 31 years old and with a discography well beyond his years in his armoury, Jake is just as relevant as ever. Still filling venues the world over, the best is yet to come. The first single from the Deluxe album Never Said Goodbye had playlists at R2 with a drivetime premier, was Virgin Drivetime track of the week, playlisted on Absolute X and BBC London.
