As Pugilist, Alex Dickson has a rich history of fusing multiple genres to produce unique soundscapes that occupy the collapsing space between techno, house, breakbeat, and jungle. Extracting and distilling the crucial ingredients from each one and using them to conjure up rich sonic tapestries that are as vivid as they are intoxicating. With his debut EP for Of Paradise, entitled ‘Negative Space’, Dickson pushes his sound even further, serving up a masterclass in atmospheric club chemistry, purpose-built for a post apocalyptic world.

Featuring four deeply effective cuts caught somewhere between offbeat techno, lucid breaks, and swaggering bass, ‘Negative Space’ is a four-track vortex born out of heat-soaked landscapes and executed with cold vein precision.
