This collection, recorded between 1963 and 1965, captures an era before Sly and the Family Stone achieved global fame, showcasing Sly Stone during his time as an in-house producer and solo artist for the San Francisco-based Autumn label. Here, Sly Stone became a complete artist and the influence of this formative period on Sly and the Family Stone cannot be understated. This record celebrates 60 years of Sly Stone's solo Autumn work. A must have for lovers of black music. Pressed on heavyweight colored vinyl.
