Apple Opaque Vinyl with Limited Edition Artwork Reunited shoegaze outfit Slowdive spent 2016 in the studio recording their first album in over two decades. The new album follows two years of successful live shows. The band split up in 1995 after being dropped from the Creation label, but achieved cult success in the years between then and 2014, when they reformed. This new album is their first since 1995's Pygmalian, which the band never actually toured when it was originally released. The world has finally caught up with Slowdive. The band whose reach goes far beyond just influencing music are back with their first new album in 22 years. The album is called Slowdive - self-titled in an echo of their debut EP from 1990 - and is remarkably direct.
