SWEET - LIVE 25 SWEET
With “Full Circle” (2024), the Rock institution SWEET released an album that critics and fans around the world considered to be their strongest since “Level Headed” (1978), the last album recorded by the four original band members. “Full Circle” was also the band’s first Top 20 entry in the German album charts since the release of the 1978 classic.
With such a strong album under their belt, it was only natural for the band, led by founding member Andy Scott, to present the new songs live. The album “Live 25”, is now ready for release. Alongside tracks from “Full Circle”, the band performed all the classics hits plus a few heavy rock tracks that had rarely made it onto the set list in previous years.
The current Sweet line-up has proved to be the perfect team. The sound and dynamics of the band live carries the audience on a magic carpet ride of pure emotion.
Andy Scott comments: "Live 25" is more than just a live recording, it's a celebration of what Sweet do best. From the 1970s performing live has always been at the heart of who we are, and that fire still burns bright.
